I’m thinking about getting a separate system to run Proxmox on and learn skills that can be put towards System Admin roles. Right now I’m looking at a N150 which I think could run 2 windows VMs to practice Powershell scripting and active directory. I’m also pricing out a managed switch to practice more networking and hopefully allowing me to assign VLans to my separate machines.
Edit: Just ordered the N150 and getting it this Thursday 3/6/2025, still looking at switches.
